Wenns nicht zu heiß oder die schöne Tischplatte vor Kratzern geschützt werden soll. Dieses Set aus 4 Untersetzern war vor dem Brand unglasiert. Alle Spuren auf der keramischen Oberfläche erzählen vom 24-stündigen Holzbrand, den freiwerdenden Alkalisalzen, Ascheanflug und Bewegung der Flamme. Echte Hingucker und sie funktionieren - bei mir sind sie täglich im Gebrauch.

Set consisting of 4 wood fired stoneware coasters with little cork feet.

Excellent little helpers for keeping heat and water/condensation off our favourite wooden table. These coasters were unglazed before the firing, which means that all of the patterns and textures on the ceramic surface are a direct result of the 24-hour wood firing. Ash that has melted to form a glaze and directional flashing create at times dramatic, at times gentle effects.
